About RMS LANDSCAPES

RMS Commercial Landscapes Ltd was founded by Richard O’Rourke, whose passion for working outdoors developed into a successful landscaping business with more than 20 years of experience.

Richard first began carrying out domestic mowing, planting and general garden maintenance in 2004 while working in an office-based HR role. The time spent outdoors quickly rekindled a childhood love of nature and led him to develop his knowledge of horticulture. After being made redundant in April 2005, Richard took the opportunity to establish RMS Garden Services.

The business initially focused on domestic garden maintenance, alongside Richard’s part-time position as Head Gardener at Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. However, it soon became clear that his real passion lay in maintaining larger sites and delivering more substantial landscaping projects.

Today, we provide landscape maintenance, landscaping and tree services across both domestic and commercial sites. We work directly with homeowners, businesses and property managers, while also undertaking subcontract and day work for established organisations and landscaping companies.

Our ongoing clients and partners include The Parks Trust, Green Tree Services Bucks Ltd, Cartwright Landscapes, Hortus Ground Solutions and Urban Point Property Management.

Whether we are maintaining commercial grounds, completing tree work, improving a domestic garden or supporting a larger landscaping project, every job receives the same care and attention. We work with an experienced team of landscapers and tree surgeons, combining practical knowledge with the right qualifications and equipment.
